our SERVICES
Family Services
We are skilled family mediators helping families resolve complex issues in a non-courtroom setting. These issues include civil suits such as divorce, property division, custody, parenting plans, visitation, elder care, parent/teen and support issues.
Housing Provider/Tenant
The Columbia Basin DRC is working with Legal Aid and Rental Assistance agencies of Grant and Adams counties to provide Eviction Resolution Pilot Program (ERPP) services, free of charge, to tenants and property managers.

Business-Consumer
Disputes involving service agreements, damage, repairs, refunds, warranty issues, replacements, salesperson complaints, billing, withheld payments, noise and parking issues are just some of the types of issues appropriate for mediation.
Employer-Employee
All organizations experience conflict. It is completely natural when individuals with varying backgrounds, values, and responsibilities come together at work. As a third party we may be able to give you a fresh perspective or offer unbiased suggestions.
Housing-Foreclosure
2011 Foreclosure Fairness Act provides homeowner foreclosure assistance by offering housing counseling, civil legal aid, and foreclosure mediation. The program, created by the Department of Commerce, helps homeowners and lenders explore possible alternatives to foreclosure and reach a resolution whenever possible.
Small Claims
Before you file a small claims action in Washington you may participate in a mediation hearing prior to scheduling a trial date. During mediation you will have the opportunity to resolve the problem; and come up with a mutually agreed upon settlement with the other party.

- They provide guidance, maintaining total impartiality throughout the process.
- Their personal opinions do not play any role in mediation.
- They nurture a positive tone of communication.
